Setting up a new linux workstation and after installing the Citrix Receiver and attempting to start a module (Outlook) I got the dread SSL error:
Having run into this every 6 months or so I decided it was time to jot down the fix. The problem is the install does not install the Citrix SSL certificate into the browsers trusted certificate cache. So here is the solution for Firefox…
To prevent the SSL error 61 when accessing remote sessions:
Make Firefox’s certificates accessible to Citrix,
sudo ln -s /usr/share/ca-certificates/mozilla/* /opt/Citrix/ICAClient/keystore/cacerts
That’s it, you should be good to go!
