Every company and individual has a responsibility to their fellow man. This statement is not meant to imply that everyone should perform community service. It means that each of us is responsible to treat others with the same compassion and empathy that we ourselves would expect. This can be as simple as opening a door or as involved as dedicating time and energy to a worthwhile cause. We state worthwhile because not all civic involvement is worthwhile, we leave that to the individual to judge.
Technical Know-How, Inc. periodically seeks out new opportunities to help worthwhile nonprofit organizations and groups. Over the years we have assisted numerous community organizations, including Hockanum Industries, the Tolland Fund and the Pride Lasts Foundation. These organizations support those who need the help the most, the underprivileged, the disabled and children. This is a strong fit with our philosophy that only helping someone help themselves has any lasting benefit.
